The unique cushion design of the PRTM Cushion Pads provides shock-absorbing, fatigue-reducing flooring systems ideal for active sports applications. ASF produces three PRTM Cushion Systems each featuring the unique technically advanced PRTM Cushion Pads and are available with selected hardwood timber species.
PRTM 1 CUSHION SYSTEM
PRTM 1 CUSHION SYSTEM features treated cushioned battens with 19-22mm flooring nailed directly to the batten. It is resilient and easy to install.
Finish Flooring: 19mm to 22mm thick continuous tongue and groove flooring machined to ASF’s requirements.
Sleepers / Battens: 64 x 38 x 2100mm nominal kiln dried sleepers.
Cushion Pads: 17mm PRTM Pad.
Slab Depression: Concrete slab depression when using 21mm flooring is 64mm.
Performance: Manufactured to ASF & FIBA’s standards. Complies or exceeds Australian, New Zealand and MFMA standards.
Applications: Basketball, netball, squash, racquetball, multipurpose.
PRTM 2 CUSHION SYSTEM
PRTM 2 CUSHION SYSTEM has the same cushioned battens as the PRTM 1 Cushion System. A CDX plywood layer is added over the battens in this system, giving the system added strength and stability. Dead spots are eliminated.

PRTM 3 HI-LOAD CUSHION SYSTEM consists of two layers of CDX plywood. The bottom layer of plywood has the PRTM Cushion Pads fixed in position. The top layer of plywood is fixed to the bottom layer. The PRTM 3 Cushion System provides uniform resiliency, maximum quietness and strength.

VARI-CUSHION SYSTEM
VARI-CUSHION SYSTEM is a cushion sports flooring system specially designed to provide a level of impact force reduction, exceeding the DIN 18032 Part 2 & EN 1490-2006 performance requirements.
A continuous layer of 3mm 100% recycled polyurethane foam supports the technically advanced PRTM Cushion Pads, providing two distinct levels of shock absorption. Light loads compress the polyurethane foam (stage 1) whereas heavier loads compress both the foam and the PRTM Cushion Pad (stage 2). The transfer of force takes place smoothly and energy is returned to the participant in an efficient manner.
